Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Ignacio Álvaro Seros, operating under the trade name NOIDEX, with Spanish tax ID (NIF) 72996138A (see the full owner details in the Legal Notice). For any question about this policy or your personal data, you can contact us at contact@noidextraductor.com.
2. What information we collect
We only collect the personal data described below:
- Purchase: NOIDEX is sold by Lemon Squeezy as the seller (merchant of record). Lemon Squeezy collects and processes your payment and billing data under its own terms and its own privacy policy; we never see or store your card details. When the purchase is completed, Lemon Squeezy sends us your email address and order number so that we can generate and send you your license key.
- Activation and license: the data the application sends to activate and validate your license, and the data our license server stores (see section 3).
- Support: what you send us if you submit a report from the application (see section 4).
- Waitlist email address: if you signed up to be notified about the NOIDEX launch, the email address you provided.
- Basic technical data: our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically processes standard connection data (such as your approximate country) to route you to the correct language version of the site and to keep the site secure. We do not use this data to build advertising profiles.
- Language preference cookie: a small functional cookie (
noidex_lang) remembers whether you chose English or Spanish, so you don't get redirected again on your next visit.
About the NOIDEX application itself: the voice audio that NOIDEX processes to generate translations is processed locally on your own device. We do not upload, transmit or store the audio you speak or hear while using the app.
3. Activation and license
To activate NOIDEX and check that your license is still valid, the application connects to our license server when you activate it, every time it starts and, while it stays open, every 3 days. Each time it sends: your license key, a random device identifier (generated by NOIDEX on your computer; it is not derived from your hardware), the computer name and the NOIDEX version.
The license server (Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare D1) stores: your email address and order number (which we receive from Lemon Squeezy), your license key and its status (active or revoked, with the date and reason if revoked), the identifier and name of the activated device, the activation date and the date of last contact. When the application connects, the server also sees the connection IP address; we do not store it in the license database. If you use the Manage Your License page, you enter your email and key to check the license status or release the device.
Purpose: to validate your license and limit it to one active device at a time. Legal basis: performance of a contract. Retention: for as long as the license exists and, afterwards, for as long as required by applicable tax and accounting law.
4. Support
If you submit a report from the Support section of the application, it sends your message, your email address (if you provide it) and a technical log of the current and previous session (NOIDEX version, Windows version and hardware details, selected audio devices and applications, events and errors). The log does not contain the audio. From NOIDEX version 16.19.0 onwards it does not contain the recognized text or the translations either; reports sent from earlier versions could include fragments of the recognized text. The report is delivered through Brevo to our support mailbox.
Purpose: handling the request you send us. Legal basis: performance of a contract (support for your purchase) or legitimate interest in handling your request. Retention: as long as needed to resolve it.
